Struct Peer

Source
pub struct Peer {
    pub uid: u32,
    pub admin: bool,
    pub session: Option<String>,
    pub agent: Option<String>,
    pub instance: Option<InstanceId>,
    pub tty: bool,
}
Expand description

The caller of a request, from SO_PEERCRED, group membership and logind.

Fields§

§uid: u32§admin: bool

Root, or a member of planarian-admin.

§session: Option<String>

The logind session of the calling process (sd_pid_get_session), if any.

§agent: Option<String>

The agent this process belongs to: its cgroup is the unit planarian-agent-<name> (§11). An agent is its own principal, never the uid it runs under, and is never an administrator or in a session.

§instance: Option<InstanceId>

The agent unit’s instance the process runs in (its InvocationID, from the cgroup), which authority is bound to (I24).

§tty: bool

The calling process has a controlling terminal, read by the daemon from its pidfd (§11, B-3). Never taken from the request.

Implementations§

pub const fn new(uid: u32, admin: bool) -> Peer

Source

pub fn agent(uid: u32, name: &str, instance: Option<InstanceId>) -> Peer

A process in agent name’s unit, in the given instance of it.
